Rooted Preschool Enrollment

Any child in a diaper OR pull-up falls under the infant/toddler rate. Any child in underwear falls under the preschool rate.

Yes! You're welcome to complete an enrollment packet at anytime. Children are accepted when they are either of age or a space opens up.

The waiting period for enrollment at Rooted Preschool depends on a few factors: 

1. Your child must be of age (18 months)

2. There must be an opening! 

It's hard to give an exact timeframe. So don't be shy, just ask! We'll happily tell you what our waitlist looks like at the time of inquiry.

Yes, there is a $75 non-refundable new student fee (registration) and a $50 fee for returning students. 

We understand that life happens and do our best to accommodate schedule changes. All requests require a two-week notice and will be approved based on availability. If we’re not able to accommodate your request, we will do our best to work with you to find a solution.

We are proud to have a 1:4 teacher to child ratio! 

Pickup and drop-off times vary depending on the schedule you’ve chosen for your child. 

Full Day Program

Drop off: 8:00 am - 9:15 am Pickup: 4:00 pm - 4:30 pm

AM Half-day program

Drop off: 8:00 am - 9:15 am Pickup: 12:30 pm - 1:00 pm

PM Half-day program

Drop off: 1:00 pm - 1:30 pm Pickup: 4:00 pm-4:30 pm

We provide a healthy snack at 10:00 AM and again at 2:30 PM, but parents are responsible for sending their child to school with lunch. 

We encourage parents to pack healthy lunches without any sweets.

Yes. We have an action-packed summer program in July! Our summer program is typically one week from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.

All of our teachers are CPR, First-Aid and Public Safety certified. We are also mandated reporters. 

Our facility holds health and safety permit, and Teacher McKyla holds a site supervisor permit. 

Yes. All children need to be fully up to date with their vaccinations and submit a copy of their records prior to starting the school year.

We encourage children to nap, but we do not force them. If children refuse to take a nap, we provide them with quiet activities until naptime is over. Regardless, we always respect parents' decisions and do our best to facilitate their requests.

We know all children are on their own developmental timeline and therefore do not require students to be potty trained. If we do feel they are ready, we will encourage parents and the child to take their next steps towards their potty training journey. We are here for the ride! We are always available to assist with toileting and although we encourage children to wipe themselves, we will never allow a child to leave the bathroom with a job unfinished.
